Sickla Central offers modern office space in a very good location in southern Stockholm with only 7 minutes' travel time to Kungsträdgården when the new metro opens. Sickla Central will become the new landmark in Sickla, while the building’s character connects it to its surroundings and the neighborhood’s history. The dark copper hue of the facade has clear ties to Sickla’s older industrial architecture. The verticality of the facades plays off the character of the older industrial architecture, and the varying heights of the offset, stacked volumes link the new building to the heights of the existing buildings in the surrounding blocks. The orientations of the immediate area are captured by the angles of the different volumes, which together shape the new urban spaces formed on the site.

At 115 meters above sea level, Sickla Central also offers a glimpse of the growing city’s new skyline. The upcoming high-rise buildings to be constructed along the new subway line will form a string of tall buildings between downtown and Nacka Center.
