Sickla Central
Office property in Stockholm
Sickla Central will be Sickla's first really tall building with its 25 floors. A landmark that will both stand out and blend into its surroundings. Sickla is a part of Nacka that is growing and developing rapidly. Housing, commercial properties and new infrastructure are being built here. When the new station is completed, it will be an important link between Nacka and Stockholm, and travel times to and from the city center will be halved.

Terraces on floors 11, 14 and 23 offer fantastic views of Stockholm.
Sickla Central offers modern office space in a very good location in southern Stockholm with only 7 minutes' travel time to Kungsträdgården when the new metro opens. The station will be an important travel node in the future with a very large flow of both transiting and visitors to the district. The ground floor of the building contains a ticket hall with escalators directly down to the platforms and with a direct connection to the platforms for the cross-train and Saltsjöbanan.
In the lower parts of the office building there is co-working with flexible workplaces for modern working life that complement the permanent workplaces in the rest of the building. This new landmark also contains services and shops, and higher up there are restaurants and meeting places.
The roof terrace outside the restaurant on the 11th floor offers perhaps the city's most spectacular view south of south, with an incomparable view towards the center of Stockholm. This is the best place for business meetings, a long-awaited after-work or why not a glass of wine at sunset.
Occupancy will start in 2025.
The architecture
Sickla station house will be the new landmark in Sickla while the building connects to the surroundings and the history of the neighborhood through its character. The dark copper tone of the facade has clear links to Sickla's older industrial architecture. The verticality of the facades plays with the character of the older industrial architecture and the different heights of the staggered, stacked volumes link the new building to the heights of the existing houses in the surrounding neighborhoods. The directions of the neighborhood are captured by the angles of the different volumes and together they build the new urban spaces formed on the site.
At 115 meters above sea level, Sickla station building also gives a hint of the growing city's new silhouette. The upcoming tall buildings to be built along the new route of the metro will be like a string of tall buildings between the inner city and Nacka center.
Sickla Stationshus is Kanozi's response to Atrium Ljungberg's and Nacka Municipality's desire for a dense, attractive city. It is a building that makes room for meetings between people and creates conditions for the workplaces and communications of the future.

Design Director, Founder
We gave the assignment to Kanozi because both we and Nacka Municipality thought their proposal was the best. The 25-storey building will rise as the obvious centerpiece of Sickla. A new landmark with staggering possibilities and views of the entire city.
