The Great Snipe
Special accommodation outside Lund
In Stångby, north of Lund, we have designed a special housing complex with 50 apartments. The building's design is based on the scale and materials of the surrounding area, with villas in a classic style and solid materials, as well as barns from a time when agriculture was central to the area.

Facing the street, the architecture is austere and classic, an angular building with a large gabled roof in sheet metal and a facade in hand-made red brick. Glass sections extend across all three floors, allowing residents to follow the changing seasons from inside. Towards the courtyard, the building has a different character, with built-in planters and trellis walls around the emergency staircases.
The user experience and safety have been important in the design throughout the entire process. Residents should feel at home and safe here, which is why great emphasis has been placed on spaciousness, daylight, and the choice of materials and colors.
