Arena Sergel wins international sound award
Kanozi Arkitekter and Efterklang are very proud of nominations in the International Sound Awards 2022 and awards in ISA Better Sound 2022 in the categories Universal Design and Soundscapes and Ambient Sound.
In the project Arena Sergel, Kanozi Arkitekter has been interior designers and strategic partner to Vasakronan when a former bank office was to be transformed into a modern and attractive coworking office. We are so happy about the good cooperation with Efterklang, it has been an important part of the project as a whole and has strengthened our design. We wanted to create an environment where people thrive, feel inspired and dare to be themselves; with Efterklang's acoustic design, the sound is as important a part of the overall experience as the interior design.
When it opened, it was the bank branch of the future. Large and modern with the best location in the center and all possible services in one place. For a while there was even a drive-in bank in the garage. Half a century later, the office was both outdated and too big. When SEB moved out in 2017, Vasakronan saw the opportunity to adapt the premises for new times and needs. They decided to refine the offer to their tenants by turning parts of the old bank palace into coworking offices, and chose Kanozi as a strategic partner to develop the brand-building interior design concept for Arena Sergel.
