Eminent Hyllie

Environmentally certified office building in Malmö

We have created the first office building in the Nordic region to be certified according to Well - an international building standard that takes into account people's well-being at work.

Area14 500 m²

The 14,000 m² office building in Hyllie was completed in spring 2019.

The Well Building Standard was developed by the Well Building Institute (IWBI) in New York and is based on seven concepts that affect health: air, water, light, comfort, diet, exercise and well-being. When people feel good, they perform better.

And with that philosophy, we have designed an architecture that creates well-being and offers a healthy workplace beyond the ordinary.

For our client, it was important to have both open workplaces and cellular offices that can change over time. This placed high demands on the design of the frame, facade and installations. In addition, taking into account the Well standard and Environmental Certification Gold, has had to take a large place in the planning of this project. Kanozi Arkitekter has been involved in all parts of the project, from the first sketches to construction documents, and has also developed interior design concepts for several of the tenants. Being involved in the entire process helps to keep the whole thing together, which has a positive effect on the end result.

Great care has been taken in the design of the stairwell and staircase to stimulate movement, and health magazines on diet and exercise will be available on the ground floor for all tenants. The ample room height contributes to a positive experience of the room and creates good conditions for good light penetration, the requirements for non-toxic materials are high and various art installations and greenery will be integrated into the property.

For us, it is important that good architecture has a positive impact on people, resulting in a better socially and ecologically sustainable society.
